Hello and thank you for your interest in Western Branch Little League (WBLL)!

We are an ALL GIRL softball organization for girls ages 4-16. Please be sure to load your child's birth certificate, school enrollment form, and email back the medical release and WBLL Disclosures form (these will be sent with your confirmation email) to [email protected]. We have the following divisions and recommendations for you.....

"League Age" is the age your daughter is on Jan 1st, 2025.

T-Ball: Girls league ages 4-6 (if your daughter is age 4 or 5, this is the division for her. If your daughter is 6 and never played softball before, this is also the division for her)

Minors/Coach Pitch: Girls league ages 6-10 (if your daughter is age 6 and has completed a season on T-ball they are eligible for this division, ages 7-11 are also eligible for this division, typically we encourage girls who are 9, 10, or 11 to register for Minors/Player Pitch the next division up, unless they have never played before. This division helps the girls understand the game)

Minors/Player Pitch: Girls league ages 8-11 (If your daughter has a good grasp of the game and is ready to work more on her hand eye coordination this is a great division for her. This division takes some patience as girls are learning to pitch and new rules are imposed.)

Majors: Girls league ages 9-12 (If your daughter has a great grasp on the game and is getting more consistent in her batting and fielding, this division is for her. If your daughter has never played the game before we highly recommend not starting in this division if possible. In this division girls grow in their skill and abilities, this is a massive growth division. This is the division in baseball you see play at the Little League World Series to get an idea of great skill level in this division)

Seniors: Girls league ages 13-16 (If your daughter is 13 or older, this is the only division she can be in regardless of skill or knowledge due to size and age. But have no fear! Many girls have started at this level, and many girls continue to advance and grow their skills in this division. This is the division that you see many of our Western Branch JV Softball players on, or our Middle school softball players on.)

**If your daughter is new to softball please stick to these recommendations. If your daughter played for us in the Spring AND is required by age to move to the next division on Jan 1, 2025, you should consider moving your daughter to the level she will need to play next Spring to get her accustomed to the speed and movement at that level.
