2008 Primary Fund Raiser
The league’s next challenge is to get running water to the new concessions building. This will be extremely costly, but with a little effort it is well within our grasp. Running water will allow us to offer a variety of hot foods and expand the present building to include restroom facilities.
To achieve this goal, we will be holding a Raffle with several prizes to be given away during Opening Day, April 5th. We have a grand prize of a large screen HDTV (approximately 42” about $1200), a second prize of $750 cash, and numerous third prizes ($50-75 range). The third prize drawings will be held during each game on Opening Day. Ticket prices will be $10.00 and each player will be asked to sell a minimum of 20 tickets. Ticket sales will occur from the first week of March until April 3rd. Similar fundraisers have been used in the past with exceptional results----the tickets almost sell themselves. Two young ladies on a travel team easily sold 80 tickets in less time, so you can see the sky is the limit.
You do not need to be present to win the raffle.
