Concession Information

Team Moms:

No one likes to work the concession stand, but it has always been part of the deal when you sign up for organized sports. The concession stand provides much-needed income to pay for umpires, equipment, field maintenance, etc.; it helps keep sign-up fees down. It is also there as a convenience to you. Without volunteers, the concession stand cannot operate. Please keep these things in mind:

·         Most teams are scheduled to work before or after their games, with some unavoidable exceptions. Check your time.

·         If you can’t work your assigned time, give me AT LEAST 24 hours notice. Buyout is $20 per worker. Don’t call your team mom or coach; e-mail to schedule a buyout.

·         Workers need to be at least 12. No one younger.

·         The must be at least one adult in the concessions.

·         If your team does not show or buyout, the concession stand will have to close, and no money will be raised for the league that day. It is not fair to assume that someone else will handle it. We are all busy.

·         Please don’t stick your coach with working your team’s shift.
