Are you 16 to 18 years of age and still would like to play Fast Pitch Softball?
The season starts when the High Schools in the area finish their seasons. There may be a week of overlap but not like regular spring softball. Exact dates are yet to be determined. Please fill out the intent form below if you are interested in playing Big League Ball.
Western Branch Little League is getting together with other District 6 division, to start Big League Soft Ball. We are planning on a Spring 2008 season. Together with Olive Branch, Churchland, Wilson, Cradock, and Bennett's Creek we are accepting applications for Big League. This season usually starts around the time that the area high schools finish their spring season, mid to late May.
The only requirement is that you live in the District 6 boundaries. Basically if you played for one of the divisions in District 6 you can sign up to play Big League. If you are new to the area, District 6 covers all of Portsmouth, Northern Chesapeake, and Northern Suffolk. Depending on the number of young ladies that sign up for Big League depends on the number of teams. There is a real good possibility that some traveling will be involved. There is a good possibility that we would inter-league with other districts in our area. District 7 is in Hampton / New Port News, District 8 is in Virginia Beach. There have been several young ladies from all the divisions that have inquired about Big League. There are also several coaches that are interested in coaching them to the next level.

To play Big League for 2008 you must be born between January 1,1991 and December 31,1989.
